Who operates Binder
Binder is operated by its creator as an individual. For privacy questions or requests, contact support@bindernow.com.
Information handled
- Account information: email address, authentication and account identifiers, and account status needed to create, secure, and operate an account.
- Subscription information: plan, billing interval, seat and subscription status, and payment-provider references used to manage subscriptions. The payment provider handles card details during checkout; Binder’s website does not receive full card numbers.
- Support messages: your email address and information you choose to include when contacting support. The support email provider receives those messages. Please do not send document contents, passwords, payment-card details, or government ID numbers.
- Technical request data: website hosting and security services may process technical request data, such as IP address, browser details, timestamps, and requested page information, to deliver and protect the website.
Why and with whom
Information is used to provide account login, subscription and seat management, protect the service, respond to support requests, and meet legal obligations. Account authentication, payment processing, website hosting and security, and support email are provided by service providers that process information needed to perform those services.
Documents and the desktop app
The website does not provide a document-upload workflow. This notice makes no representation about the desktop app, local files, backup copies, or app telemetry. Review the app’s own privacy information before using it with sensitive material.
Retention and security
Account and subscription information is kept while needed to operate the account and address billing, legal, dispute, and security needs. The services used for support email and website hosting may retain related records under their own retention practices. Do not send sensitive document contents through support email.
Your choices and requests
You can update account details in account settings and request access, correction, or deletion by emailing support@bindernow.com. We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify a request before acting. The account settings page also provides a verified account-deletion flow; deletion requires a recent sign-in, confirmed account email, and typing DELETE. An active subscription must be canceled first. Deleting an online account does not delete local files, copies you hold, or necessarily erase provider backups and records kept for legal, billing, security, or dispute purposes. We will explain any applicable exception when responding. Rights vary by location and applicable law; this notice does not claim that every statutory right applies to every person.
Changes and contact
